What we collect
Processing starts with you, when you send an enquiry. We then process the details you provided yourself.

- your email address
- the subject and the content of your message
How the form works
When you submit the form, your browser sends your name, email address, subject and message to our hosting. The hosting processes that request and forwards the message by email to our existing kontakt@kommex.hr mailbox, which runs on Microsoft 365 (Outlook).
The sender of that message is always our own address; your address is placed only in the reply field, so that we can answer you directly.
The content of your message is not stored permanently on the hosting. What is recorded is the time, a short status word for the outcome and a one way cryptographic digest of your IP address, solely to limit the number of attempts and prevent abuse. Your address cannot be recomputed from that digest.

Purpose and legal basis
We use your details solely to answer your enquiry and, if we agree to it, to prepare a proposed scope and a quote.
The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. For the technical records needed to keep the form secure the legal basis is our legitimate interest in preventing abuse. We do not use your details for marketing, we send no newsletter, and we ask for no consent to any such processing.
Cookies, analytics and tracking
This site sets no cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, does not measure visits and loads no content from other servers. That is also why there is no cookie consent dialog.
If that ever changes, the change will be described here before it is introduced.
How long we keep data
An ordinary enquiry is kept for at most 12 months from the last communication, if no business relationship arises from it.
If a business relationship does arise, the related documentation is kept for as long as contractual and legal obligations require.
The technical records of the form, which hold only a time, a status word and a digest of an IP address, are kept briefly and removed in the course of ordinary operation.
We also delete data earlier at your request, except where a legal obligation requires us to keep it.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for marketing.
The only parties involved in the processing are our hosting provider, which serves this site and forwards the form message, and Microsoft, whose Microsoft 365 service runs our kontakt@kommex.hr mailbox. There are no other recipients; the site loads no content from anyone else and uses no external sending service.
We also pass data on where the law or a competent authority requires it.

Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the way we process data changes. The most recent change describes switching on form sending through our own hosting.
